Sachie wants a website that reflects her taste and incorporates elements of her treatment room and heritage. A design that is too contemporary and sterile just isn’t for her.
The chosen design features a Japanese painting of peonies used as the background for the slider. It is the perfect picture because Sachie is from Japan and peonies are her favourite flowers.
Sachie had photos taken by a photographer specially for her website and Writer/Editor Rocky Hudson assisted with web content. We worked on fine-tuning the looks of her website; adjusting the height of the slider and picture size, and the colours. It was good to get feedback from Sachie with regards to her likes and dislikes all along the way.
Sachie does not have a logo. I created one, to use as her favicon. It is the initial for her first name with two circles, somewhat like a stylized ‘ying-yang’ symbol, synonymous of any Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy or treatment such as acupuncture. The colour chosen is the signature colour of her website and her treatment room. All in, it also gives a hint of Sachie’s cultural heritage. When I opened the new sample, I thought this is it!
I fell in love with the colour and the picture itself. You are so clever Jade, thank you very much for your hard work.
The green leaf looks like a pond, the flowers are open on the surface of the water, it’s such an attractive colour, the colours that you used are all my favourite colours.Sachie
